Acer Notebooks Rank No. 1 in Q212 Shipments Worldwide
TAIPEI, TAIWAN
Acer has claimed the No.1 position in notebook shipments worldwide for Q2 2012, according to data by market research company Gartner.
Acer’s notebook market share of 15.4% demonstrated growth rates of 1.2% quarter-on-quarter (QOQ) or 6.5% year-on-year (YOY).
In EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), Acer notebooks regained the No. 1 position with 20% in market share, and representing growth rates of 3.8% QOQ or 22% YOY.
The Gartner data also showed that for total PCs, Acer ranked No. 3 worldwide in Q212, with 11.4% in market share.
