The best thing of this PC is its design and value. But we should have a chance to improve or upgrade at least its ram and HDD, even on cost of battery life and weight. Because of that i can't give a 10 mark, if not it should deserve 10 or more.
Custumers should be able to costumize some things. Like Ram and HDD. Maybe just this, and i think it will be unbeatable compare with other brands.

Thin yet sturdy. Fast. Owned a Surface 2 Pro before, this beats it in performance and value. Paid less for this than the Surface. I upgraded myself to a 1 TB SSD. Was easy. Remove twelve screws and replace the mSATA. I used a new mSATA from Samsung.
Had a couple issues using Bluetooth mouse. Cant be sure if it was the mouse or the interface, but that is the only glitch I had for the past two months.

1. The laptop is lightweight, and the clean design is appealing.
2. The instant "wakeup" is terrific.
3. I don't know about battery life because I don't use it that way, but I've read that it's 4 or 5 hours, which I would consider adequate for my uses.
4. The touch screen comes in handy occasionally. I do like that.
1.The keyboard is abominable and a disaster. Here's why: the backlighting, which is a feature that I insisted on having because I liked it on wife's apple air, is stupidly annoying because it turns the keys light blue and makes them "invisible". The worst of all is that the caps lock key shares space with the ` ~ key which is hardly ever used but it's much smaller and impossible to hit without looking. If they HAD to share space, the caps lock key should have been the larger one. To use "home" & "end" you have to also touch the FN key :-(. The touch of the keyboard is very sensitive, so it's easy to type double letters by mistake. I've gotten used to the touch, but it's a challenge - at this point I am not unhappy with it (even though I just typed double letters twice in writing this sentence).
2. The Bluetooth mouse stops working often. The way to cure that is to put the laptop to sleep and awaken it. Very annoying and from my research online typical with the machine.
3. When I first got the machine, it "chirped" voluntarily (very annoying when watching videos). I spent an hour on the phone with Acer help desk, resolving it at first, but it came back (and then went away on its own).
4. I've had the laptop for about a month and have gotten used to turning the backlighting off every time I open it and to some of the keyboard follies. If the setup and transfer of my backed up files from my old laptop had not been such a chore, I would have returned it and tried the Lenovo Yoga laptop that weighs slightly more. Or I have even converted to Apple to avoid the stupidly conceived Windows 8.
5. When the touch pad is activated, the cursor wanders to random locations on the page (a problem that I've had with every laptop I've ever owned), so I turn it off (FN+T) and use a mouse.
