Boston, MA Often on the move
- So far, I am very happy with the purchase. This is a "liberating" machine!
Experts' complaints about the design (reverse mouse pad position) which may have pushed Acer to discontinue this model at least in the US markets, are unfounded. With the touch screen extended to the keyboard (covering the mouse pad), mouse pad is unnecessary. It takes a week or two to adjust. That's all. Excellent, fast and responsive full-HD touch screen. Machine boots fast and runs fast. Very good (Macbook-like) backlit keyboard. High-quality chassis. The machine is used 6-8 hours, 24x7, for business and personal use.
Battery life in high-performance power mode and high brightness, is very good
- Power button is misplaced, and can be accidentally pressed when the machine is on.
The screen is glossy and can reflect lights behind. Making the screen anti-glare would make this machine unbeatable.
Machine is well-built, but slightly heavier.
